What if i am unhappy with something?
Please call us or email us right away. We want to know if there is a problem, and we will work with you to resolve it.
Do i need to be home?
​
No. Most folks are at work when we perform your tree work. Crews are provided with the contract spelling out every detail, so they can get the job done quickly and efficiently, with or without you being there. But if you are worried or just want to watch the fascinating process, by all means, we will be happy you are home.
What do I need to do to prepare for the crew?
​
You will want to clear your driveway and make sure any decorative items or obstacles are out of the way. And please, pick up your dog’s poo!
Tree Removals, Pruning, Hedging & Stump Grinding
How often do i need to have a tree Pruned?
​
It depends on the species and your own needs, but for maintenance pruning, 1-5 years is a good rule of thumb.
Can you prune a very tall hedge?
​
Yes! We have a bucket truck we can use, we can use our tall ladders, or we can climb through them
How much does tree work (Removal, hedging, pruning) cost?
​
There are so many factors involved, we can’t quote a price without visiting the site. Some of our considerations: size of the job, access, proximity to structures, safety (is the tree so dead that it’s dangerous?), equipment needs (do we need to bring the bucket truck?), permitting requirements, and if we need to move firewood. We offer free bids, so call us to come out and give you a firm price.
How Much of the stump will be removed during stump grinding?

Our stump grinder will grind up all the above-ground stump and then down about 6-12” below grade to grind up the root ball. If there are specific roots going out from the stump that you want to ground, please make sure to note to your estimator to include them in the pricing.
Transplanting & Planting
Will you plant new trees?
​
We can plant a new tree while we are out doing other work for you. But we don’t come out to just plant new trees.
Do you move trees?
​
We can move very small, young trees only. Once a tree develops its root system, we cannot move it.
